Overview:

There's only one you, so protect yourself out there.
The result of extensive R&D and the collaboration of
some of the world's leading experts in cryptography
and the Internet, IronKey is the world's most secure
flash drive. It safeguards your files, keeps your online
life private, and protects you from people who want
to steal everything from your identity to your cash.

The blazingly fast onboard Cryptochip protects your
data on the fly. Everything you do on your computer
is instantly scrambled, and no one–not even sophisticated
hackers–can break the military-grade encryption. And
all this advanced technology comes packed in a tamperproof,
military-grade waterproof case.
Your IronKey also comes loaded with a secure private
browser that lets you surf anonymously and protects
your passwords whenever you go online. It also connects
to a range of valuable IronKey services that simplify
your digital lifestyle while giving you added peace
of mind.

Encrypt Your Data:

The
IronKey Personal secure USB flash drive is a revolutionary
personal security device that ensures your personal
data stays in and other people stay out. It keeps your
private files safe from prying eyes. Store up to 16GB
of data with fast, reliable flash memory and military-grade
encryption ensures only you can access your files. All
this in the coolest, toughest design you'll find anywhere.
Hardware Encryption for Bulletproof Security
Strong, AES 256-bit hardware-based encryption protects
all data stored on your IronKey Personal drive. Unlike
the "software" encryption sometimes used on personal
computers, a special cryptographic chip inside the IronKey
Personal drive encrypts all data stored on the drive
with military-grade encryption (IronKey uses the same
encryption algorithm that the U.S. government has approved
for storing Top Secret data). No one can access files
stored on an IronKey drive unless they have the correct
password. All encryption and password verification
is performed in hardware. This security shell resists
even the most sophisticated attacks employed by professional
hackers.
Surf Safely:

Who's
watching you? Whenever you surf the Web others can glean
the details of your online life–not just by accessing
data stored at your Internet Service Provider (ISP)
or websites, but also by surreptitiously monitoring
traffic on wired broadband network connections as well
as on a wireless connection at a hotel, coffee shop
or even your residential neighborhood. People living
in your home can also monitor your online activity without
you knowing it. The information obtained can include
which sites you visit, the IP address of your computer,
and even the content of your email and private communications.
IronKey Protects Your Privacy from People Spying
on Your Network Connection
IronKey helps you defend against this type of digital
surveillance, which threatens your personal freedom
and privacy, confidential business activities, and relationships.
Every IronKey Personal drive comes with an onboard Mozilla
Firefox Web browser that lets you safely surf the Web
using the IronKey Secure Sessions service.
IronKey Secure Sessions Service triple-encrypts all
your Internet Web surfing traffic (including your URLs)
between your PC and the Secure Sessions servers, preventing
anyone who might be monitoring your network connection
from capturing information such as the URLs you visit.
The Secure Sessions servers also act as a proxy, which
means they retrieve the Web page for you without revealing
your identity, and then present it to you. In this way
the site you visit will not receive any particulars
about you (your system, your IP address, etc.) because
the proxy isolates your computer from the outside world.
It's an ideal way to make Web email and Web surfing
more secure and confidential.
Protect Your Identity:

Prevent Identity Theft
There’s only one you—so it pays to protect the data
that identifies you in today’s digital world. However,
avoiding identity theft is no longer as simple as shredding
credit card offers or ignoring clumsy emails scams from
Nigerian princes who promise untold riches in exchange
for your bank information. The explosion in online banking
and e-commerce—as well as the popularity of personal
finance software—has spawned a new species of global
identity thieves. And these cybercriminals steal confidential
information from computer users with unprecedented sophistication.
Ways Cybercriminals Can Steal Your Identity:
- Hacking into your computer by using everything
from simple password guessing software to global
networks of remotely hijacked computers (Botnets)
that can hammer away at password protection with
millions of tries
- Infiltrating your computer with viruses and
worms that steal information and send it back to
the hacker over the Internet
- Installing software (keyloggers) on your computer
that can log your keystrokes when you type your
username and password to a website
- Redirecting your Web browser to fake phishing
websites that look convincingly like legitimate
sites, where hackers capture your confidential information
The High Cost of Losing Your Identity
The Federal Trade Commission estimates that as many
as 9 million Americans have their identities stolen
each year. And identity theft is a serious matter. It
may cause you to be denied loans for education, housing
or cars because of negative information on your credit
reports, or even cause you to lose out on job opportunities.
Damage to your credit can also mean identity theft victims
pay more for everything from home loans to car insurance.
In rare cases, they may even be arrested for crimes
they did not commit.
While some victims resolve identity theft quickly, others
spend hundreds of dollars and days or months trying
to repair the damage to their credit records and reputation.
How IronKey Protects You from Identity Theft—Online
and Offline
A good first line of defense against identity theft
is to use your secure IronKey drive to store all your
personal and financial information. That way, if your
device is lost or stolen, your data is protected with
the military-grade IronKey encryption. By using the
IronKey backup software, you will also have a securely
protected copy of all your critical information that
you can save onto your PC.
In addition to strong encryption, IronKey Personal
provides:
- An Identity Manager application that securely
stores your usernames and passwords and automatically
populates the fields when you visit a website. This
not only protects you from keyloggers, but also
makes it easy to use stronger passwords because
you don’t need to remember long, complicated strings
of characters.
- Strong anti-malware defenses to prevent crimeware,
keyloggers, Trojan Horses and other malware from
infecting your drive and potentially stealing your
private information.
- VeriSign VIP One-Time Password verification
to protect your financial data by providing a highly
secure way to authenticate with online financial
services such as your eBay and PayPal account.
- The IronKey SecureSessions service to prevent
people from spying on your Internet traffic, while
also providing secure DNS services to help assure
that you are not visiting a spoofed website used
to perpetrate a phishing or pharming scam.
Manage Your Passwords:

Forget About Remembering all those Usernames and
Passwords
The IronKey Personal drive provides an Identity Manager
application that securely recalls them with one-click
ease whenever you visit a password-protected website.
It also allows you to use stronger passwords, with longer
and more complicated strings of characters that would
otherwise be too difficult to remember. For added security,
your IronKey drive includes a virtual keyboard. So when
you do need to type in a user name or password it prevents
keylogging software from capturing your keystrokes.
The Identity Manager also lets you back up all your
passwords to the online IronKey service so that you
can recover them if your drive is lost or stolen. The
IronKey servers are housed in an ultra-secure data center—even
IronKey personnel cannot access your stored passwords.
